Rise of the Planet of the Apes did actually have a single memorable moment going for it, (which I won't spoil) but I'm really getting tired of these animal take over franchises. Everything has already been done, and so Hollywood figured they'd do it all again. These movies should be horror movies, but as long as they continue to make them PG-13 material, we're going to be stuck with the same mediocre storyline concepts and obnoxious, predictable character dynamics. Message to Hollywood: Stop trying to make these movies appropriate for the entire family. That's what Toy Story is for dammit!

Here's another example of a tired franchise that should probably die. And this comic being made back in 2003, it probably already is.
